A Harvard Square, Boston Restaurant Legacy

A Harvard Square, Boston Restaurant Legacy

Harvard Square has always been a place where tradition and reinvention meet. Over the decades, its streets have been home to bookstores, coffeehouses, live music venues, and restaurants that became landmarks in their own right. Among them, Grendel’s Den carved out a reputation as a quirky, beloved gathering spot. Now, its sister restaurant, The Sea Hag, carries that legacy forward with its own coastal twist.

Breakfast burritos

Breakfast burritos

For years it seemed like there was no place to get breakfast in Harvard Square. Ever since Leo's Place closed on JFK Street almost a decade ago, you could find fancy brunch fare at Henrietta's Table, or go to chains like IHOP and Dunkin' for something more affordable Now, we have a few more options like Bluestone Lane and The Friendly Toast. Why then, would we wade into such a competitive market with breakfast and brunch at The Sea Hag?
